Warranty Requirements
To maintain warranty eligibility:
- Installation must be completed by a licensed repair facility.
- Installation invoice must be retained.
- Fresh oil and filter required.
- Cooling system must be serviced.
- New thermostat required.
- EGR cooler and EGR passages must be cleaned before installation.
- Engine must not be operated while overheating.
Warranty Void Conditions
Warranty becomes void if:
- Engine overheats.
- Vehicle is driven after coolant loss.
- Vehicle is driven with active temperature warnings.
- Engine is modified.
- Engine is disassembled without authorization.
- Installation documentation cannot be provided.
- Maintenance records cannot be provided.
- Internal damage results from neglect or improper installation.
How Warranty Claims Work
- Contact Global JDM before any repairs begin.
- Provide installation invoice.
- Provide photos and videos of the issue.
- Engine must remain intact for inspection.
- Global JDM reserves the right to inspect the engine before approving any claim.

Warranty applies only to eligible Ontario residents and is limited to 3 months or 10,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first.
Warranty covers only internal engine components listed under covered components. Labour, shipping, diagnostics, towing, rental vehicles, and consequential damages are excluded.
Global JDM reserves the right to inspect any engine before approving a warranty claim. Warranty coverage is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
Customers outside Ontario may still purchase engines but receive standard coverage only.
