Used Parts Disclaimer

All products sold by Global JDM Auto Parts Inc. are used imported automotive parts unless otherwise stated. Cosmetic wear such as scratches, stains, oxidation, or minor dents may be present. Buyers should carefully review all photos prior to purchase.

JDM Engine Mileage Disclaimer

Engines sold by Global JDM Auto Parts Inc. are imported used engines from Japan.

Due to the nature of imported engines, exact mileage cannot be verified. Our suppliers generally estimate these engines to have approximately 50,000–80,000 km at the time of removal. This mileage is not guaranteed and should be considered an estimate only.

By purchasing a JDM engine, the buyer acknowledges that the actual mileage may vary and cannot be confirmed.

General Warranty Terms

The warranty period begins on the delivery date based on shipping carrier tracking.
Claims made after the warranty period has expired will not be accepted.
Shipping costs and labor charges are not covered under warranty.
Any malicious or fraudulent warranty claim will result in the warranty being immediately voided.
If a settlement is in progress and a chargeback is attempted, all previous offers are subject to deduction during the dispute process.
Buyers are responsible for verifying compatibility with their vehicle before purchasing.

Warranty Coverage

Non-Performance Engines: 30-day start-up warranty beginning on the delivery date (based on tracking). Warranty applies to internal engine components only unless otherwise stated.

Performance Engines: Sold with NO WARRANTY. These engines are typically used for racing or high-performance builds. Inspection is welcome prior to purchase.

ENGINE WARRANTY IS NON-TRANSFERABLE. WARRANTY IS VOID IF THE VEHICLE IS RESOLD.

Transmissions: 30-day start-up warranty from delivery date unless otherwise stated.

Front-End Conversions & Body Parts: Sold AS-IS with NO WARRANTY. Condition is shown in photos with upwards of 100+ photos for some listings. If you have any questions or would require more photos, feel free to reach out to us.

Suspension Components: Sold without warranty unless otherwise stated.

Warranty Void Conditions

The warranty will be immediately void if any of the following occur:

Engine is opened internally (removal of cylinder head or internal components).
Improper installation or lack of professional installation.
Failure to perform required maintenance prior to installation.
Engine overheating or oil starvation.
Vehicle used for racing, track use, or competition.
Engine modified with forced induction not originally equipped.
Use of nitrous oxide (NOS).
Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
Warranty period has expired.

Important Notes

Inspect all shipments for damage before signing delivery paperwork. Failure to do so voids freight damage claims.
Clutches included with transmissions are provided free of charge and are not covered under warranty.
Accessories shipped with engines (alternator, starter, intake, etc.) are included for convenience and are not covered under warranty unless stated otherwise.
Wear items such as gaskets, belts, spark plugs, filters, seals, and hoses are not covered.
Oil pan dents may occur during overseas transport and are not covered under warranty.
Customers receive exactly what is shown in listing photos.
Additional swap components required for installation must be purchased separately.
We are not responsible for emission or smog compliance in your jurisdiction.

Installation Requirements

Installation must be performed by a licensed mechanic or professional automotive technician. Improper installation will void the warranty.

Engine Requirements

Replace engine oil with manufacturer recommended oil.
Replace oil filter.
Replace valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, and rear main seal.
Inspect and replace timing belt or chain if necessary.
Replace thermostat and water pump.
Flush cooling system and refill with proper coolant.
Install new spark plugs.
Inspect belts and hoses.
Change engine oil after first 600 miles.
Follow manufacturer maintenance schedule.

Transmission Requirements

Inspect flexplate and starter teeth.
Replace seals and gaskets where necessary.
Flush transmission cooler lines.
Properly align torque converter.
Fill transmission fluid to manufacturer specifications.
Reset vehicle ECU / transmission codes if required.

Claims

All warranty claims must be made within the warranty period.
Photos, invoices, and a mechanic inspection report may be required.
The item must remain available for inspection.
Returned items must be in the same condition as sold.
Labor, towing, and freight costs are not covered.

The following are NOT accepted as valid claims:

Parts not included in the listing.
Incorrect vehicle compatibility.
Improper installation damage.
Overheating or oil starvation.
Use of incorrect fuel.
Environmental damage.
Collision damage.
Performance modifications or tuning.
Racing or competitive driving.
Unauthorized repairs.

Returns

Returns must comply with all warranty terms listed above.

Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.
Engines or transmissions must be installed within the warranty period.
Returns without proof of installation may be subject to a 30% restocking fee.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Items must match the condition shown in original listing photos.
Buyer must contact us to initiate a return file.

Engines complete with accessories may not comply with emission control laws in your region. Customers must transfer emissions equipment from their original engine to remain compliant with local regulations. Add-on accessories included with engines are provided for convenience and testing purposes only. The purchase price represents the cost of the long block assembly. All items are sold for off-road use unless otherwise stated.
