U.S. Import Tariffs & DDU Terms

Attention American Buyers: Due to the current U.S. administration's aggressive tariff policies and trade restrictions, all orders shipped to the United States are subject to significantly higher import costs.

All international orders are sent DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Global JDM is NOT responsible for customs duties, brokerage fees, or import taxes. These "Trump Tariffs" are federal requirements collected by the carrier on behalf of the U.S. government. We have no control over these rates and receive none of these funds.

🕒 Shipping Timeline

We aim to ship all items the same or next business day. Orders placed before 1 PM EST typically ship the same day. You will receive a tracking number via email/text within 24 hours of dispatch.

📍 Service Areas

We ship across the Continental USA and Canada. HI, AK, and PR: Standard checkout rates do not apply. Quotes typically range from $500–$800 CAD. Please contact us for a custom quote.

🚛 Freight Logistics (Engines & Front Clips)

Items marked as Free Shipping are eligible for Commercial Terminal Pickup ONLY (within the 48 lower states).

⚠️ SHIPPING CAP LIMIT: Our "Free Shipping" offer covers freight costs up to a maximum of $225.00 USD.

Due to extreme rate hikes for remote areas (e.g., Southern California, Florida, or rural zones), any freight charges exceeding $225 must be paid by the customer before dispatch. We will provide the official carrier quote for transparency.
  • Terminal Pickup: We ship to the nearest freight hub based on your ZIP code. Your vehicle must be forklift-accessible (Pickup truck or U-Haul).
  • Residential Delivery: Strongly discouraged. Surcharges for liftgate/tailgate services will apply and must be paid in advance.

*Note: If your local terminal quote exceeds $225, we will contact you with the balance owing.

🚨 Mandatory Inspection Policy

You must inspect the package before signing the delivery receipt. If the driver is in a hurry, do not let them leave until you have checked the condition.

If the item is damaged: 1. Refuse the delivery or 2. Clearly note "DAMAGED" on the delivery slip. If you sign for a package without noting damage, the insurance claim is void and we cannot assist with a refund.

📸 Photo Transparency

To ensure total transparency, we provide actual photos of your packaged item before it leaves our warehouse so you can confirm the condition and packaging.

📅 Delivery Schedule

Carriers typically deliver Monday–Friday (9 AM – 8 PM). Global JDM is not responsible for extra storage or redelivery fees if you are unavailable at the time of delivery.
